Jonathan was so anxiously awaiting this delivery of kittens, the 2nd for Flower...his cat.  She was 2 days later in delivering them than the last time, and he really wanted to see the delivery so we kept checking frequently on her.  Yesterday morning, she refused her food, which is one of the signs.  After the milking of our last cow, Jonathan started hearing kittens crying...she had delivered amidst the hubbub of the morning chores in the barn , except she had chosen to deliver under the shed (which is actually in the barn).   So not only did Jonathan not get to watch, we couldn't even see the kittens nor count how many or what colors she had

However, today while we were at church, Flower decided to move the kittens to underneath the deck that joins the house to the garage.  Still pretty inaccessible, but at least we can peek at them better.  The boys have counted 4 kittens, all either solid black or gray.  So much different than the last batch which contained 3 calico's, and 2 gray & white ones.

Now the pleading and begging begins as to who gets to pick a kitten to keep, and which one ...I got to pick the last time.
