I love Christmas! The whole idea of putting on a festive decor for the holidays is so fun to me. My mother also loved decorating for Christmas...in fact, some of my best memories are of her and me pulling all the decorations out of the upstairs chilly closets into the warm bedrooms where we would remember and decide where all the decorations would go. Some years were particularly special when my brothers and sisters, all with spouses and children, would come home for Christmas. If there is ever a time in the Christian life to celebrate, Christmas is one of those times, when God reached down and gave us His very own son for a short while.
I can only recall one Christmas when I didn't decorate my home for Christmas and that was due to an upcoming move. This year, will make two times that I didn't decorate (again, due to an upcoming move); however, we won't be without decorations, thanks to my boys this year!
One of their creative homeschool assignments has been to design and make a Christmas tree! With nothing more than empty paper towel cardboard tubes, white paper plates, green crayons and a little tape they have made a 3+ plus Christmas tree. All it lacks are a few ornaments, which are in the making. They've also talked about making some paper chains. So with these few decorations and some wonderful Christmas music, we are enjoying Christmas...and looking forward to decorating our farmhouse next Christmas.

Re: Creative Christmas
I did take pictures, but with one inept blogger (won't mention who!) and my wonderful computer genius husband who has been very busy with our move, we don't have all the pictures on the website yet! It's on my "learning list" this year of how to incorporate pictures with my blogs! Keep checking back!
